We can zoom in or out to the Thumbnail level, if we have a touch screen. We just click on any Thumbnail to go to that page.īy using the Thumbnails command we can flip through pages using our fingers. This way it is easier to jump to the one that we want quicker and easier. By selecting this command, we can see all the pages like tiles. In the Zoom area of the View tab, the only available command is the Thumbnails one.

Once we activate the Side To Side command, a new area appears on the View tab which is named Zoom. In the image below, I have selected the command Side To Side command under the Page Movement area of the View tab, and we can see how are pages will be displayed on our screen. By activating this command, we can see whole pages by sliding each page from right to left or left to right. Under the Page Movement area of the View tab, we select the command Side To Side as shown in the image below. With this command, we scroll up and down in order to move among our pages. By default, under this area the Vertical command is activated as we can see below. Once we are sure that the Print Layout command is activated, we locate the area of the ribbon named Page Movement as shown below. We must select the View tab and to make sure that from the area of the ribbon named Views, the Print Layout command is activated as shown in the image below. The Thumbnails command is a new feature available in Microsoft Word and will be described in the post below. Do you want to see all the pages in your Document at once and to easily navigate to the page that we want, quickly and efficiently? We just have to use the Thumbnails command.
